Most airports still charge outrageous prices for fast Wi-Fi, but there are a few clever ways to stay connected without paying. Some premium lounges offer free high-speed internet, and even if you’re not a lounge guest, hanging near a lounge entrance sometimes gives you access to their Wi-Fi signal. At airports with limited-time free Wi-Fi, simply restart your device or switch to a different email to reset the timer. Traveling through Dubai (DXB) or Hong Kong (HKG)? They offer unlimited free Wi-Fi for everyone. Lastly, check the “Airport Wi-Fi Passwords” map online, where travelers update login details for hundreds of airports worldwide.
