As one of first UNESCO world heritage sites, the city of Quito is protected, making it a long-standing spot for learning new traditions and activities unique to South America, through places such as plazas, churches, and museums. Agriculture is prominent among the local population, which means affordable, delicious, and filling local food for visitors.
