Flight comparison sites are excellent tools, but the attractive initial price displayed isn't always what you'll pay. Many Online Travel Agencies (OTAs) or even budget airlines tack on mandatory fees (like "service fees" or specific payment method fees) only at the final stages of booking. What looked like the cheapest option can quickly inflate. Always click through to the final payment screen before making a decision, and compare the total cost, including all taxes and unavoidable fees, across different providers.
