Every country has its own driving laws and regulations, which can differ significantly from what you’re accustomed to at home. Ignorance of these laws can lead to fines, legal issues, or even accidents. Before you hit the road, familiarize yourself with local traffic rules, speed limits, and road signs. Some countries require an International Driving Permit (IDP) in addition to your regular driver’s license. Make sure to check if this applies to your destination. Understanding local driving etiquette, such as right-of-way rules and the use of roundabouts, is equally important. By preparing in advance, you can drive with confidence and avoid unnecessary trouble.
