Although the Ambrosia is considered smaller than most superyachts at 212 feet, it is still a luxurious way to travel the seas. The yacht can fit the twenty-person crew needed to operate the ship and about a dozen guests. It was built in 2005 by Italian company Benetti, launched the same year, and has a range of seven thousand nautical miles. Such an incredible feat is made possible by the diesel-electric Azipod propulsion, which allows for a level of fuel efficiency that is incredibly valuable to any vessel owner and allows captains to get farther on each tank of fuel, making for a more enjoyable experience for everyone.
