Yemen is currently experiencing one of the world's most severe humanitarian crises, compounded by active armed conflict, political instability, and a high risk of terrorism. Widespread famine, disease outbreaks, and a breakdown of law and order create an exceptionally dangerous environment for all individuals, including foreigners. Kidnapping, arbitrary detention, and violence are pervasive. The U.S. government maintains a "Level 4: Do Not Travel" advisory. Travel to Yemen is strongly advised against due to the overwhelming and existential threats to life and safety.
