Original Purpose: Hosted the opening and closing ceremonies and track and field events for the 2008 Beijing Olympics. New Purpose: A multipurpose venue that turns into a winter-themed attraction with artificial snow. With artificial ski slopes, ice slides, and winter activities, it attracts tourists and locals alike while preserving the venue's legacy.
