In the coastal village of St Abbs, Scotland, Marvel temporarily transformed the quaint town into “New Asgard” for Avengers: Endgame (2019). While the production dismantled much of the fabricated signage and set dressings after filming, subtle remnants and fan tributes remain. Visitors still report spotting leftover props and altered storefronts that subtly nod to Thor’s peaceful post-snap refuge. Though not a traditional ghost set, its short-lived Marvel makeover left a cultural imprint. St Abbs is now a quietly mythic place where Norse gods, Scottish cliffs, and fan pilgrimage converge in cinematic afterglow.
