Soaring 49 stories above Bangkok, the Sathorn Unique Tower is one of the world's most infamous "ghost towers." Intended as a complex of luxury condominiums and hotel space, construction began in the booming 1990s but halted abruptly during the 1997 Asian Financial Crisis. It was never completed. Its distinctive balconies and Romanesque columns now gather grime, while the hollow structure provides illegal, breathtaking views for urban explorers.
