Perched atop Dominican Hill with commanding views of Baguio, this building has a dark and storied past. Originally a Dominican retreat and college built in the early 1910s, it became a refuge during WWII, witnessing horrific atrocities. It later served as the Diplomat Hotel from the 1970s until the owner's death in the late 1980s, after which it was abandoned. Now a designated heritage site, its distinctive twin towers and crumbling structure are famous landmarks, shrouded in ghost stories and tales of restless spirits, making it a popular, albeit eerie, destination for paranormal enthusiasts and photographers.
