Designed in part by renowned Mexican architect Mario Pani, the hotel embraced modernist elegance amid lush cliffs and waterfalls. But by the 1980s, economic instability and remote access led to its decline. Today, visitors who brave the overgrowth and crumbling terraces find silent pools, cracked mosaic floors, and jungle reclaiming the marble corridors—an atmospheric blend of nature, art, and decay.
