While now the Radisson Collection Hotel, Moscow, the Hotel Ukraina, one of Stalin's "Seven Sisters" skyscrapers, had periods where its vastness and Soviet-era design felt like a partially forgotten giant, especially post-Soviet Union before its major modern renovation. Built in 1957 near a railway station and river port, it was meant to showcase Soviet grandeur.
