Some high-volume corporate travel agencies or specialized luxury travel advisors may have direct agreements with airlines or lounge networks that allow their clients (or sometimes even their own employees) access to lounges. This is more common in the corporate travel world where companies are spending significant amounts on flights. While not a universal loophole, if you book through a large corporate agency or a very niche luxury travel consultant, inquire if any lounge access benefits are extended as part of their service package.
