A beloved seaside park with a history stretching from the 1840s to its closure in 1995, Rocky Point left behind iconic structures that decayed dramatically against the Narragansett Bay shoreline. Images vividly capture the rusting frames of the Corkscrew coaster, the hollowed-out Palladium ballroom, and the skeletal Skyliner ride standing forlornly near the water's edge. The juxtaposition of collapsing amusement rides with the scenic coastal backdrop made it a favorite for photographers before its eventual demolition and transformation into a state park.
