Located near the South Carolina border, the falls drop a total of 811 feet, with the upper falls alone cascading 411 feet. A well-maintained trail provides access to a viewing platform and a path that leads behind the falls. The falls are particularly impressive after heavy rains, when the water roars with increased intensity.
