One of the oldest stadiums in college football, Nippert offers a unique and intimidating urban atmosphere. Its tight, sunken design, surrounded by campus buildings, traps noise exceptionally well, making it feel much louder than its capacity (around 40,000). Recent success and a jump to the Big 12 have only amplified the passion of the Bearcat faithful. The "Down The Drive" chant and the historic setting combine to create a claustrophobic and high-energy environment right in the heart of campus.
