Located in the heart of Michigan State University’s campus in East Lansing, the Breslin Center is one of the most revered venues in college basketball. Opened in 1989, it replaced Jenison Fieldhouse as the home of the Spartans basketball program and has since become a proving ground for some of the best teams in NCAA history. With a seating capacity of over 14,500, the Breslin Center boasts an electric atmosphere, thanks in large part to the Izzone, Michigan State’s legendary student section. The Izzone is known for its synchronized chants, relentless energy, and ability to create an overwhelming home-court advantage—something that has played a pivotal role in the Spartans’ dominance under Hall of Fame coach Tom Izzo.
