Located within the labyrinthine Fes el Bali medina, its mosque, library (recently restored and housing ancient manuscripts), and madrasa complex showcase stunning Islamic architecture, intricate tilework, and serene courtyards. While access for non-Muslims to some areas is restricted, its sheer historical significance and the beauty of its visible elements make it an awe-inspiring center of ancient learning.
